The Temperature-Controlled Battery Short-Circuit Tester is designed to simulate external short-circuit conditions on rechargeable batteries while controlling the temperature environment according to relevant safety test standards. It enables accurate evaluation of battery safety under short-circuit stress at specified temperatures, helping manufacturers ensure compliance with international safety requirements and optimize design reliability.
Basic Performance
- Simple and User-Friendly Operation
The system features a touchscreen human–machine interface (HMI) for intuitive operation and parameter editing.
The battery is placed on the shelf inside the temperature chamber. After closing the door, the test can be automatically completed by pressing the test button on the touchscreen. - Safety and Explosion-Proof Design
Both the inner and outer chambers are reinforced for enhanced safety, and the equipment is equipped with a safety interlock door design. - Integrated Aesthetic Design

The base of the equipment is equipped with swivel casters and adjustable leveling feet, allowing convenient movement, accurate positioning, and secure fixation.
Equipment Structure
- Control System: PLC control system with touchscreen HMI for operation and parameter setting.
- Heating System: Ceramic heating elements are used for heating. A circulation motor with a fan wheel provides forced horizontal air circulation, ensuring uniform temperature distribution inside the chamber. The system is equipped with over-temperature protection and automatic power-off protection in case of overload.
- Short-Circuit System: Industrial high-current silver-plated contactor short-circuit system, including: 1 channel with low-resistance short circuit ≤ 5 mΩ, Additional channel with resistive short circuit of 80 mΩ
- Auxiliary Functions: Equipped with a visible explosion-proof glass observation window, internal lighting, smoke exhaust system, pressure-relief explosion-proof design, door safety interlock, emergency stop protection, as well as equipment mobility and fixation functions.
