The Battery Pack Seawater Immersion Test Machine simulates the safety performance of various battery packs after being immersed in seawater.
Test Procedure
- Test Object: Battery pack or system.
- At room temperature, the DUT (Device Under Test) is connected to the vehicle wiring harness in its actual on-vehicle assembly state. Then it is placed in a 3.5% NaCl solution (by mass fraction, simulating seawater composition) for 2 hours. The water depth must be sufficient to fully submerge the DUT. Observe for 2 hours.
- Requirement: The battery pack or system shall not exhibit fire, explosion, or similar hazards.
