Battery Grade Sodium Metal Chips for Sodium Ion Batteries

These sodium metal chips are used for coin-type sodium-ion battery assembly. The sodium chip is covered with 30um aluminum foil on one side as a support and current collector. Self-made sodium sheets are easy to get burrs and scratches on the surface and inconsistent size, which affects assembly efficiency and battery performance. These sodium chips have uniform size, smooth and bright surfaces, and can be stored for a long time.

The sodium is 0.45 mm~0.5 mm thick. The Al support layer is 30um with a blue cover.

Instructions for the use of sodium chips:

1. Open the black jar outside of the glovebox. Transfer the whole sealed aluminum bag to the glovebox.
2. Peel off the protective films on the surface (both sides) of the sodium chips. The blue film is on aluminum Foil and the other side is a transparent film on sodium.
3. Use a wide flat tweezer to hold the chip. Peel off the protective film with another tweezer. Be clear that the blue film is with the Aluminum foil.
