Ketjenblack EC-600JD by Nouryon is a superconductive carbon black with minimum impact on mechanical properties. Due to its unique morphology and extremely high surface area, only one-sixth of the amount of Ketjenblack EC600-JD is needed compared to conventional electroconductive carbon blacks in order to achieve the same conductivity. It is suitable for electroconductive applications in batteries.
